Welcome to the 2010 Season

Welcome everyone to another great season at the Stratford Tennis Club. This is going to be another fun and exciting season at the club.

We will be experiencing some minor disruptions with access to our parking until the middle of May as our roadway and parking lot gets a nice new layer of pavement. This will eliminate the dust and dangerous potholes.

You will also notice the new Bill Sibold practice wall that was completed the third week of April. Thanks to a very generous donation by Bill Sibold and his family we were able to replace the old one. Bill was the best tennis player to come out of Stratford with a very successful Collegiate career as Captain of the prestigious Yale Tennis Team. Bill spent countless hours hitting balls against the old one developing his game. Many thanks to the Sibold family.

Make sure all you competitive men's and ladies doubles players sign up for the NEW
Stratford Tennis League. This is going to be a great new addition to the club for members only. Matches are played Tuesday nights with snacks following the matches. Sign up and details at the club.

Please check in to the website news section for regular reports, photos and important updates.

Happy Hitting!
